Tamsie C. Black

Tamsie enjoys helping people make sense of financial topics and answering the questions that come with life’s many transitions. As an Associate Financial Advisor at Wealthway Financial Advisors, she serves as a resource for clients as they navigate important financial decisions and work toward their long-term goals.

While studying business in college, Tamsie was encouraged by a professor to explore financial planning as a career. The more she learned about the profession, the more she realized it combined two things she enjoyed most: working with people and helping them navigate important decisions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is currently pursuing her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

One of Tamsie’s favorite parts of her work is getting to know clients and hearing their stories. She enjoys learning about the experiences and goals that are important to them and appreciates that every client and every situation is different. Helping people better understand their finances and feel more confident in their decisions is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.

Outside of work, Tamsie enjoys staying active through hot yoga, fitness classes, and beach volleyball. Having played collegiate beach volleyball, she still enjoys spending time in the sand whenever she can and loves being outdoors, whether it’s a day at the beach, a camping trip, or a weekend getaway to the mountains.
