As Director of Financial Planning, Allison is responsible for developing and overseeing the firm’s financial planning process to continue to help our clients enhance their quality of life. Her talents are well-balanced between technical expertise and the more personal side of planning.

Allison Dubreuil's Professional Timeline
2007
Career began in the financial services industry in 2007 as a Senior Shareholder Account Representative at American Funds servicing Financial Advisers and their clients.
2011 - 2012
Worked for a money manager where she was responsible for assisting clients in developing and monitoring investment portfolios and conducting technical market analysis.
2011
Completed the Financial Planning program at Old Dominion University.
2012
Obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2012.
2012 - 2015
Held the position of Director of Financial Planning for a financial services firm in Virginia Beach.
Created and built a financial planning department that offered a strong back-office and client-facing planning resource to over 75 financial advisors.
Developed and facilitated training for new and experienced advisers, teaching them how to provide clients with a comprehensive and uniquely rewarding planning process.
2015
Joined Wealthway Financial Advisors.
Allison grew up in Michigan and comes from a family of financial planners. She attended the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and minor degrees in Business and Psychology. She and her husband, Eric, live in Virginia Beach and enjoy staying active and traveling as much as possible. Allison also has a passion for dance. She has danced since the age of four and is a national award-winning choreographer. She currently teaches advanced ballet and contemporary dance classes at a studio in Virginia Beach.
